Mersea Seafood Company is an independent family-run business which was established in 2018 by myself Liza Stoker, my husband Stephen (5th generation fisherman from Mersea Island) and my daughters Beth, Louise & Evie.

We have our own fishing boat, My Way MFV CK926.
My husband Steve and his father David Stoker, now in his 80’s fish locally for us in the Thames Estuary giving us the freshest supply of locally caught fish, literally straight from the boat to our little fishmongers (meaning minimal food miles) situated at Bonners Barn, The Strood CO5 7QL open Wednesday - Sunday during the winter and Tuesday-Sunday throughout the summer.
We also have access to local suppliers, billingsgate and Lowestoft fish markets enabling us to bring you a selection of the finest fish and seafood from around the world.
